Steve McCall

McCall started off his successful career playing for Ipswich Town during the 1980 – 1981 season, helping the club win the UEFA Cup. He went on to make over 325 appearances for Town before moving on to play for Sheffield Wednesday. After enjoying a short spell playing for Wednesday, McCall signed for Plymouth Argyle and went ton to make an immediate impression at the club, being named player of the year in 1993 and 1994. He spent a total of six years playing for Argyle and made over 275 appearances playing for the club. He is considered to be one of the greatest ever players to have played for the club.

 

Michael (Mickey) Evans

Evans began his playing career at Plymouth in the year 1991 and soon established himself up front for the club and made his mark in the first team. In what proved to be his first spell playing at the club, he spent six years between 1991 and 1997, making over 180 appearances and was most notable for helping the club gain promotion in the third division play off final in 1996. He later on had spells playing for Southampton, West Brom, Bristol Rovers, before retuning for a second spell with Plymouth between 2001 and 2006, making over 200 appearances.

Marc Edworthy

Edworthy started off his playing career at Plymouth Argyle, playing for the club between 1992 and 1995. He was named as their player of the year in 1995 and his great play earned him a move to Crystal palace in 1995, a club he went on to spend three years at. He later on enjoyed spells playing for Coventry City, Wolves, Norwich and is currently at Derby County.
