Adrian Burrows

Burrows started off his career off playing for Mansfield Town between 1979 and 1982. He signed for Northampton Town in the summer of 1982 and spent two years playing for the club before signing for Plymouth Argyle in 1984. He only moved to the club for a bargain of £10,000 and soon established himself as a fine defender at the club, becoming a frequent starter over a long period.

John Brimacombe

Brimacombe came through the ranks at Plymouth Argyle and made his debut for the side in the year 1985 and soon established himself in the starting eleven. He was one of Plymouth’s finest defenders during the 1980’s and was a solid presence in the heart of the defence during the 1989- 1990 season, being named as the player of the year at the end of the campaign.

Kevin Hodges

Hodges commenced his playing career as an apprentice at Plymouth Argyle FC prior turning professional in March 1978. He holds the record of most ever league matches played at the club, a total of 530 games and scored 81 goals. He helped Argyle reach the semi finals of the 1984 FA Cup as they suffered defeat against Watford at Villa Park. He spent a total of 14 years playing for Argyle between 1978 and 1992.
