Jack Leslie

Jack Leslie signed for Plymouth Argyle in the year 1921 as he arrived from Barking Town. He went on to score over a staggering 400 goals in his career, netting in 134 goals for Plymouth in 400 appearances for the club. He spent a total of 14 years playing for the club between 1921 and 1935.

Jack Cock

Cock will be remembered as one of the most ever prolific goal scorers in English football. After enjoying a spell at Huddersfield Town, he moved to Chelsea in 1919 and made over 100 appearances for the club and scored over 50 goals. Between 1922 and 1925, he made over 70 appearances for Everton. During his time at Plymouth Argyle between 1925 and 1927, he scored an incredible 72 goals in 90 matches, one of the finest ever goal scoring ratios the game has ever seen. He finished off his career playing for Millwall, once again acting as a goal scoring machine.

Sammy Black

Black ranks second in Plymouth Argyles most played ever players as he made 491 appearances in a Plymouth shirt and scored a prolific 185 goals. He spent a total of fourteen years playing for the club between 1924 and 1938 and is considered to be one of the clubs greatest ever players, being named in their all time team of the century.
